Conferences
Among the several purposes listed in its articles of association of the Fondazione Centro italiano di studi sull’alto medioevo, the activity relating to the organisation of conferences is the most important and significant.
The study weeks that take place in Spoleto from Thursday before Easter to the following Wednesday and the national and
international conferences that are organised in places that are particularly suitable due to historical and artistic memories and
references, are characterised in mediaeval historiography as an expression of a true scientific confrontation and diversities of
interests and methodological arrangements.
